WEST PALM BEACH, FL, UNITED STATES, November 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Santa visits, polar projection experience, bioluminescence, Hanukkah menorah lighting and evening viewing of koala and sloth habitats.

Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society welcomes back its signature holiday event, Zoo Lights: Magic in the Wild, with the most notable transformation in its history. Now in its eighth year, this West Palm Beach holiday lights tradition is reimagined as a single, unified story. From Santa and twinkling lights to cocoa-and-cookies cheer and a polar projection experience, holiday magic meets the magic of the wild.

Running November 20, 2026 – January 3, 2027, on select nights, Zoo Lights at the Palm Beach Zoo leads guests from one immersive section to the next, each featuring its own mood and sense of discovery. Zoo Lights tickets are now on sale, and it’s the perfect way to spend a Palm Beach holiday.

A Holiday Light Event Told as a Story

Holiday Wonderland: Guests will still get to experience the traditional Zoo Lights they know and love, featuring twinkling holiday light displays and a visit with Santa. But now, little wild ones can write Santa letters and enjoy fireside stories from Mrs. Claus.

Polar Wonderland: A new immersive projection experience transports guests to the poles through sweeping images of the Arctic, Antarctic and the captivating aura of the aurora borealis.

A Glowing Farewell: A final chapter of enchanting bioluminescence sends guests off on a festive note, carrying the magic of the wild with them. It’s a unique light path that families and friends can stroll as they take in the joy of the holidays.

What’s New at Zoo Lights 2026-2027

• New experiences including a polar projection, bioluminescence installations and free activities, like ornament making and letter writing to Santa.
• A dedicated space for beautiful menorah lighting during Hanukkah
• Two accessible animal habitats at night: Koalas and Sloths
• Free family activities including letters to Santa, ornament decorating, air clay crafts, and more throughout the Zoo
• A beautiful fountain running for the first time during Zoo Lights, so bring the swimsuits if you want!

A Palm Beach County Holiday Tradition, Reimagined

For seven years, Zoo Lights has brought communities together. It’s the place where families and friends return to, year after year, to slow down during a busy season and simply be together. As a landmark holiday event in Palm Beach County, Zoo Lights lets people be surrounded by something different while staying close to those they cherish most. Every glowing pathway is a chance to walk side by side, and every stop along the way is another memory added to the ones from years before. This year, that same togetherness takes on a wild new dimension across the Zoo, showing how lights and traditions can bring people and nature together in a magical way.

“Our mission has always been centered on connection — between people and wildlife, amid awe and purpose,” said Casey Coy, chief of operations of Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society. “This year, we set out to make that connection impossible to miss. Every pathway, every light, every story guests will encounter has been built with intention. When families leave the Zoo, they’re not just leaving with new memories, but they’re also carrying a little more of that wild magic with them and a reason to protect it.”

In addition to experiencing the magic of Zoo Lights, each ticket purchased helps support the Zoo’s ongoing wildlife care and conservation efforts. For Zoo Lights dates, times and ticket prices, please visit: https://www.palmbeachzoo.org/zoo-lights

Zoo Lights: Magic in the Wild is made possible in part by the generous support of major sponsors Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County and Florida Power & Light Company (FPL), whose partnership has helped bring this reimagined holiday tradition to life this year.
