PHOENIX, Arizona — World Commerce & Contracting (WorldCC) will host its Americas Summit 2026 on October 5–6, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona, bringing together professionals from contracting, procurement, commercial management, legal, supply chain and related business functions.
The two-day event will be held at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass and will focus on issues affecting commercial and contract management across organizations.
The 2026 summit will carry the theme “One Discipline, Infinite Impact: Redefining Commercial and Contracting Beyond Functional Silos.” The program will examine how organizations manage contracts, commercial relationships, risk, supplier performance and cross-functional responsibilities.
Sessions will cover topics including contract value erosion, artificial intelligence, trade and supply chain changes, contract standards, negotiation, governance, statements of work and post-award contract management.
WorldCC research has reported that organizations experience average contract value erosion of approximately 8.6%. The summit will include discussions on the causes of value erosion and value leakage and how responsibilities across legal, procurement, commercial, finance and operational teams affect contract performance.
Artificial intelligence will also be included in the program. Sessions will examine the use of contract data in digital systems, AI-related contracting processes and the organizational requirements involved in adopting new technology.
The agenda will also address trade and supply chain issues affecting commercial agreements. Topics include tariffs, nearshoring, friendshoring, supplier changes and the impact of market conditions on pricing, sourcing and contractual obligations.
The Americas Summit 2026 will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops, case studies and other sessions involving professionals from multiple industries.
Announced speakers include Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority, and Tarek Amine, Principal Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Bechtel.
Other scheduled participants include Kristie Hamilton, Global Director of Global Purchasing and Manufacturing Services Operations and Transformation at General Motors; Whitney Stefko Dover, Director and Senior Counsel at Ford Motor Company; and María Marta Miná, Global Head of Contracts at SLB.
The summit is intended for professionals responsible for commercial management, contracting, procurement, legal matters, supplier relationships, governance and post-award contract activities.
Registration is available through WorldCC. Standard registration rates listed for the event are $1,400 for WorldCC members and $1,600 for non-members, with standard registration scheduled to remain open through October 2, 2026.
