Semarchy, a leader in intelligent data products, today announced expanded self-hosted deployment options for the Semarchy Data Platform, with new support for Red Hat OpenShift and Rancher RKE2.
The new deployment options give organizations the flexibility to run Semarchy Data Platform in the environment they control, and that best fits their business and regulatory requirements, whether that is on-premises, in a private cloud, or through a hosting partner of their choice.
As organizations modernize their data estates, infrastructure needs are pulling in different directions. Some want SaaS simplicity. Others need control over data residency, security, and software lifecycle management. Regulatory and corporate policy requirements now push deployment choice up to the business level, not just IT. Semarchy’s expanded self-hosted support lets customers meet these requirements without giving up the benefits of a modern data management platform.
“With OpenShift and Rancher support, we are giving customers more control over how they run Semarchy’s solutions,” said Craig Gravina, CTO at Semarchy. “Every organization has different requirements, and our goal is to make sure they can choose the deployment model that works for them. Other data management vendors limit deployment options to SaaS only, forcing customers to make unwanted trade offs.”
The expanded support is part of Semarchy’s broader strategy to give organizations the most deployment flexibility over how and where they operate their data platform. In addition to self-hosted deployments using OpenShift and Rancher, customers can run Semarchy on private-cloud including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, deploy as a native app on Snowflake, or consume it as a Semarchy-managed SaaS service.
The expanded self-hosted options are especially relevant for organizations in regulated industries, including financial services, healthcare, the public sector, manufacturing, and other sectors where control over data location and infrastructure is critical.
“Organizations are increasingly looking for technology platforms that can adapt to their governance, security, and data location requirements,” said Stewart Bond, Vice President, Data Intelligence and Integration Software at IDC. “The ability to deploy data management capabilities across SaaS, private-cloud, and self-managed environments gives teams the flexibility to meet these requirements while maintaining a consistent platform experience.”
More choice for greater control
Market consolidation is narrowing deployment options across the industry. Semarchy is moving the other way: OpenShift and Rancher give customers another way to modernize their data management capabilities while retaining the operational control their business requires.
Support for OpenShift and Rancher is available now as part of the Semarchy Data Platform. For further information, visit: https://semarchy.com/platform/
