Founder Alexis Ferguson is building a year-round community designed to give women entrepreneurs greater access to visibility, capital & strategic relationships.
PALM BEACH, FL, UNITED STATES, September 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Bosses in Heels is setting out to redefine what a women’s business community can provide, evolving beyond traditional networking to create a year-round platform connecting women with visibility, strategic resources, meaningful relationships and tangible opportunities to grow.
Founded by Palm Beach entrepreneur Alexis Ferguson, Bosses in Heels brings together ambitious women through its private Heels Society membership, strategic brand partnerships, business and PR resources, curated experiences and its signature annual event, the Museum of Her Gala.
At the center of Ferguson’s vision is a simple premise: women don’t need another room in which to exchange business cards. They need rooms that create opportunities.
“Women are looking for more than networking,” said Ferguson. “They want meaningful introductions, visibility, trusted resources, strategic support and access to opportunities that can genuinely change the trajectory of their businesses. That is what we’re building with Bosses in Heels.”
That mission will take center stage on Friday, October 2, 2026, when Bosses in Heels presents its annual Museum of Her Gala at The Ben in West Palm Beach.
A centerpiece of the gala will be a live founder pitch competition featuring five selected women entrepreneurs competing for a $5,000 cash prize. The competition gives emerging founders an opportunity to present their businesses before an influential Palm Beach audience while gaining exposure, connections and access to potential supporters.
“The Museum of Her is about celebrating women, but it’s also about investing in them,” Ferguson said. “I want women to leave our events with more than inspiration. I want them to leave with a new relationship, an introduction, an opportunity, funding, visibility or something that helps them take the next step.”
For Ferguson, building Bosses in Heels is deeply connected to her own experience as an entrepreneur, mother and woman who understands firsthand what it means to build a life and business on her own terms. Rather than positioning herself as the centerpiece of the organization, Ferguson has focused on creating opportunities for the women around her—introducing founders to people they might not otherwise meet, giving women platforms to tell their stories and connecting entrepreneurs with resources that can help them grow.
“There’s room for all of us,” Ferguson said. “When women genuinely advocate for one another, make introductions, share opportunities and use their platforms to elevate each other, everyone becomes stronger.”
In addition to the founder competition, the gala will feature dinner, entertainment, audience voting, ballet and a fashion presentation, creating an immersive evening centered on women in business, entrepreneurship and access to opportunity.
Ferguson sees the Museum of Her as more than a single annual event. The gala is intended to introduce a wider audience to the year-round mission of Bosses in Heels while creating new relationships among founders, brands, sponsors, media and community partners.
That philosophy extends to Heels Society, the organization’s private membership community, which provides members with access to PR and brand positioning, business guidance, content opportunities, strategic introductions, workshops and curated experiences.
On September 26, Heels Society will host a private gathering at Sisley Paris on Worth Avenue, bringing members and prospective members together for an intimate afternoon of connection and community—one example of the strategic brand relationships and curated opportunities Bosses in Heels is developing for its members.
As Bosses in Heels enters its next phase, Ferguson’s goal is to establish the organization as a recognizable Palm Beach platform for women in business while expanding relationships with businesses, financial institutions, luxury brands, media, mentors and community leaders that can bring resources, expertise and access into the network.
