The Fiber Broadband Association (FBA) today announced the launch of the AI & Quantum Infrastructure Pavilion at Fiber Connect 2027, a new dedicated destination bringing together the fiber ecosystem with the companies building the next generation of artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and data center infrastructure.

AI and quantum technologies are creating new requirements for the fiber and digital infrastructure that support them. As AI adoption grows, agentic AI workloads are creating more traffic between data centers, cloud platforms, edge locations, and end users. That growth is increasing demand for high-capacity, low-latency fiber across metro, middle-mile, and long-haul networks. At the same time, advances in quantum networking are demonstrating the important role fiber infrastructure’s low-loss, high-bandwidth, and stability can play in supporting quantum communications.

Taking place June 13-16, 2027, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, Fiber Connect 2027 will bring together more than 5,000 fiber and digital infrastructure professionals. The expanded AI and quantum focus will complement the conference’s extensive FTTH programming, giving broadband operators continued access to content focused on deployment, operations, funding, market growth, and the challenges shaping fiber builds today.
